This primary standard gives instruction on the requirements for the Permit to Work (PTW) system at Laing O’Rourke workplaces. The set of permits include:
- Excavation and Ground Penetration Permit
- Service Isolation Permit
- Confined Space Entry Permit
- Work at Heights Permit
- Asbestos Removal Permit
- Hot Work Permit
- Crane Workbox Permit
- Grid mesh / Flooring / Handrail Removal Permit
Whilst PTW systems are an admin control, the permits themselves step the permit holders and issuers through the use of higher order controls and are designed to apply the hierarchy of control where possible.
