5 Ways to Wellbeing Campaign – open to our supply chain partners Posted April 29th, 2020 by Lisa McKeown During this time of uncertainty and change, we’re running a special edition of our Five Ways to Wellbeing campaign. So how do you get involved? First up, register here https://learn.play2lead.co/fivewaystowellbeing You will need your email address to get started. For every registration into the app Laing O’Rourke will donate $1 to Beyond Blue recognising the important work they are doing during Covid-19 to provide mental health resources. While everyone is following government guidelines and are largely staying away from friends and loved ones, we understand the impact that this can have both mentally and emotionally. The Five Ways to Wellbeing is a set of five, evidence based, health messages about the kinds of activities that individuals can do that are known to improve mental health and wellbeing. They help you to focus on things we can do for ourselves, to support not only our own mental health, but the mental health of those around us. We will be rolling this out on a rotation with each campaign period focusing on one of the five themes over the next 10 weeks: Take Notice – Remember the simple things that give you joy Give – Your time, your words, your presence Be Active – Do what you can, enjoy what you do. Move your mood Keep Learning – Embrace new experiences, see opportunities, surprise yourself Connect – Talk and listen, be there, feel connected To begin, many of you will remember our photo competition from last year where we asked you to take a snapshot of an element of your life that aligns with one of the five ways. We will be running the photo competition again throughout the 10 weeks of this campaign, focusing on different themes. For this first two weeks, the theme for the competition is ‘my workplace’. We know that right now, many of you are working in places and spaces you may not have worked in before and are likely being a bit creative with how you’re managing to stay productive. We want to see them! A winner will be chosen for each theme and their photo will be displayed as the desktop screen saver across the business for the following campaign period. We will also shout out the winner through our various communication channels. We want everyone to take part, so please encourage our supply chain partners to get involved too. We encourage everyone to get involved. Please join your project when you sign up wherever you are working. Lisa McKeown HSE Leader No Comments Leave a ReplyCancel reply
