Five ways to wellbeing wheel

How do you take notice in your day? And in what way do you give to yourself and those around you?

Last week in the Australia Hub we kicked off The Five Ways to Wellbeing, celebrating the positive things we can do to support our mental health, and look out for our colleagues around us.

With R U Ok Day just around the corner, this months’ focus is on Give – having meaningful conversations with the people around us and giving our time to those who want to talk. Have you thought about who you will you ask R U OK to on 12 September?

Don’t forget this month we are also acknowledging ‘Take Notice’ by running a photo competition that will continue throughout the campaign over the next four months. Simply take a photo of yourself completing one of the five ways and enter it into the photo competition on the Next Gear website https://lorhsems.com/photo-comp-submission/. The monthly winner will feature on everyone’s Laing O’Rourke desktop and the overall winner will receive a $500 Red Balloon Gift Voucher.

 The Five Ways to Wellbeing:
 Take Notice – Remember the simple things that give you joy.
• Give – Do what you can, enjoy what you do. Move your mood.
• Be Active – Your time, your words, your presence.
• Keep Learning – Embrace new experiences, see opportunities, surprise yourself.
• Connect – Talk & listen, be there, feel connected.
