Phased review of our Fatal and Severe Risks (FSR’s) Posted September 7th, 2020 by nextgearadmin We are currently undertaking a phased review of the HSEMS focusing on the Fatal Severe Risks (FSR’s). This review captures the lessons learnt, project feedback and legislative updates. Please watch the video to find out more https://vimeo.com/455325114/a02ed6e9d3. You can also read more below. Why are we doing this? Investigations into the PC1’s that have occurred in 2019 and 2020 have identified a need to review our FSR’s to provide greater clarity and simplicity on critical and standard controls. We are adopting lessons learnt into the FSR such as collective insights, investigations learnings and the successful W2B pilot FSR program which achieved improved engagement of the tools with workforce and supervision and made the process flow easier by splitting assessment criteria into field and system based criteria. Ongoing continuous improvement of the HSEMS system. The FSR’s will be reviewed in stages and updated into the system progressively throughout 2020. We have completed the first stage and are ready to implement 1 new and 4 revised FSR’s: FSR Excavation (revised) FSR Plant & Equipment (revised) FSR Cranes & Lifting (revised) FSR Working at Height (revised) FSR Utilities & Services (new) To assist you further and to ensure the new FSR’s are updated on site please go to HSEMS and review and download the new tools: https://lorhsems.com. New QR code stickers to place over the old ones have been ordered and are being delivered to the projects currently. A special thank you to everyone who is taking part in the reviews. Your high level of engagement demonstrates our commitment to continual improvement and management of Fatal and Severe Risks.
