Step up to the challenge

Next month the Five Ways to Wellbeing campaign will focus on the many ways our people can ‘Be Active’ and the benefits that being active brings.

The evidence shows that what you do with your body can have a powerful effect on your mental wellbeing, and being active can increase your psychological wellbeing by keeping your mind and body engaged.

To support our people in starting or maintaining an active lifestyle, we are launching the Millionaires Club and everyone is invited to join!
The Millionaires Club is a step challenge where participants will form teams of four with the goal of becoming millionaire’s by accumulating 1M steps.  It sounds like a lot, but all you need is four participants and 10,000 steps per day to become a millionaire. 
There will be two different categories available, one for the seriously active participants and one for those who enjoy a less intensive approach to being active.
You will also be able to convert a range of activities into equivalent steps that counts towards your quota (ie house cleaning, yoga or cycling).
The wining team from each category, who accumulates the most steps during the program, will have the chance to Give $1000 to a charity of their choice.
Our goal is to walk our way to the UK office in Dartford, covering a total of 17000km (22,309,711 Steps) and we are going to need your help to do it!
The challenge will start on Monday 15 October and run for five weeks.
