Refreshed Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) Posted June 28th, 2018 by sydenhamstationupgrade In mid-2016 Laing O’Rourke launched its Next Gear SMS website, making its Safety Management System (SMS) publically available for the first time. In doing so, the SMS was available to all Laing O’Rourke employees and its supply chain, delivery partners, clients and other interested parties. A lot has changed in the last couple of years. To keep pace we have redesigned the website to encompass Health, Safety and the Environment (HSEMS). While retaining the information that was previously available, the Next Gear HSEMS website now also includes: An environmental requirements section (Severe Environmental Risks (SERs), Primary Standards and System Requirements) A redesigned and refreshed safety section that makes it easier to find Fatal & Severe Risks (FSRs), Primary Standards and System Requirements A new section on mental health & wellbeing, featuring Laing O’Rourke’s 5 Ways of Mental Health & Wellbeing toolkit and information on the organisations 2018 Mental Health & Wellbeing campaign A redesigned Pit Lane, making it easier to find tools, resources and campaign material; and A refreshed news & resources section; and The new site has also been designed to be responsive to any device, including all tablets and smart phones. For a quick tour of the Next Gear HSEMS website check out this video. We hope you find the redesigned website useful and look forward to receiving any comments and feedback.
