The intent of this primary standard is to eliminate or minimise the risks of fatalities, injuries and incidents arising from the use of cranes and lifting equipment at Laing O’Rourke workplaces. Please note – The use of soft slings is not permitted at Laing O’Rourke Australia projects and operations. Where there is a specific requirement to use soft slings this must be approved via the FSR & SER Critical Control Dispensation Approval Form prior to use.
